i quilted this deep red dupioni silk with a beautiful feather design to play up the natural iridescence of this luxurious fabric. a red/gold brocade and two-toned red fringe passementarie complete the tone on tone quality. brass filigree elements accent the silken cord handle. see the detail on this beautiful purse.

a very special purse in deep peach silk velvet which has a fabulous sheen and feel, impossible to portray in a photo. i quilted the velvet in gold to increase the light-play. a soft fringe and brocade in coordinating tones of peach, tan, moss greens and gold lead the eye up to the fabulous braided handle. see the detail.

so named because of the mysterious way this iridescent velvet changes from turquoise to green at various angles. it has been quilted with metallic green and edged with purple. the flirty loop fringe in greens, purples and blues coordinates with the red-violet brocade. the handle, in butter soft black cabretta lambskin feels great in the hand.
